I love a good mystery!

Searching the FAA database for Velocity XLs in the southwest US
(based on the terrain in the photo), and eliminating the
Lycoming and Continental engines (based on the distinctive
exhaust system with 8 straight pipes!), I find 7 results. Two
of these already have photos in the wiki. These obviously are
not the plane we're looking for:

Anyone have more information to add to our investigation? I
don't have photos of any of the last 5 planes, so any images
you can provide would be helpful, even if they're not our
mystery 8-cylinder XL.
