REFLECTOR: Vibration

I like it. 

Throw another wrench in the mix I did: I decided that the lower winglets looked too obtrusive. I also thought they must perform a function, and most likely reduce the span wise flow resulting in less drag and better low speed handling. Not to discount the "bumper effect" in case of a bad day. 
I reduced the lower winglet to 2". Then I made the rudders full length of the winglet. 
Of course my V is so different that any rational comparison of individual mods is not possible. 
Obviously, I don't mind being quite experimental and the test pilot of such a machine. 
This is not taken lightly, and will be done with care and cautiousness. 

The bottom line is, some people build their entire Velocity, some don't. Some people modify, some don't. Some people have a lot of time & experience, and some don't. The real benefit from this collective is attentive listening, honest concerned support, and the end goal of having the Velocity Aircraft line being a good performing, safe, and valued machine. 
Pilots (and probably more-so of builders) tend to be great rationalists. That does not mean that others do not have valuable points to add. All of us have room to learn....

Lighten up....listen up...and let's go flying!
