REFLECTOR: Cabin heat

Seems like the amount of heat from the duct would be small compared to 
what you get from the cooler.  Otherwise you wouldn't need a cooler, 
just run the oil line up one duct and down the other and ventilate both 
ducts.  I sealed my duct at the engine compartment, cut an exit vent 
just forward of that to ventilate the duct.  That didn't noticeably 
affect my oil temp, but it did keep the duct cooler and eliminated 
unwanted cabin heat during the summer which was my reason for doing it.  
There wasn't much heat, but when you're trying to keep cool every little 
bit helps.
