REFLECTOR: Nose gear gas strut

Hello Don,
Not normal.  Gear needs to free fall to its down and locked position, preferably without the use of a manual pry rod.
In addition to replacing the gas spring, check for friction in the nose gear linkage.  Lubricate friction points.  Make sure top of strut is not binding going into the captivator.
