REFLECTOR: Who took this pic

You are seriously wrong saying that at FL300, you will be looking down on 80% of the thunderstorms in the SW. 
I have been a controller in the SW for 28 years, and the Average TS top this time of year is at least FL370, and I have had some of the new Citations even deviate around many above FL450. 

If the statement were reversed, it may apply to the greater southwest area.

Anyone who has sat in the front of an airplane looking out at thunderstorms knows that this picture was probably taken somewhere near the base of the clouds, ie: approx. 10,000'.? At 30,000' you are normally looking down @ 80% of thunderstorms in the southwest with the other 20% somewhere higher.? This pictures definately doesn't reflect a view of thunderstorms @ 30,000'.? (sorry)
