REFLECTOR: ceramic coated exhaust pipes

It actually depends on what kind of "beads" you use. Some of the blasting media will close up and smooth down the metal. This doesn't give much "tooth" for the coating to stick to. I was advised to use a sharp, coarse grit aluminum oxide blasting media. This opens up the exterior pores in the metal and allows the coating to really stick well. 

Seems to be holding on mt pipes through many test runs. The real test will be once it is in the air.

Part of the prep for the coating process is bead blasting- so unless the old
pipes are damaged, they should be fine to coat.
