REFLECTOR: MT Prop TBO

It's not the seal, but the sealing area in the hub.  Prior to 02, the  
sealing area in the hub where the seals sealed on was aluminum, the hub  material 
it's self.  It was found that the movement of the blade/seals wore  the aluminum 
sealing area.  Now they over-bore the sealing area in the hub,  and press in 
a stainless steal ring in the hub for the seals to seal  against.  Not cheap 
and they will try to soak you for it.  Pitch a fit  and insist that they cover 
the modification.  Of course the hub must go  back to the mutha-land for the 
work.
