Good point.  Although the manual says to lift the plane from the wing tip
off the ground to check aileron clearances prior to first flight.
 
Great ideas Kurt and Al.  We've used the Freon trick before, when we first
built the strakes, but have not since because it passes the overnight air
check but after flying starts showing a leak.  Al, did you drill multiple
holes in the outer skin as you moved toward the source of your leak?  Maybe
if we let ours sit with Freon overnight and started looking after several
hours we could use that trick again.
