REFLECTOR: OT Plane hits an apartment building in NYC

For the record.. I am actually not sure the AOPA flight planner actually 
shows "vfr corridors". In the case of the East river, this area is in 
Red because its the subject of a notam/flight restriction. In cases 
where the "corridor" is simply formed by two class B's coming together 
over the top, like Houston or NYC it may show them...  in cases where 
there is a tube carved out of the middle of the airspace, like LAX (or 
used to be.. i think).. it may not depict it.  Still an excellent flight 
planning tool with fairly up to date Notam info.
