REFLECTOR: Air Filter Recommendation - Inquiring Minds

All,

it turns out my V173 FG Elite does not have an air filter or any type of 
plenum for an air filter. Where do others locate their air filter plenum 
and is their a preferred provider?

The air intake scoop is under my right wing, about one foot from the 
fuselage, a 4-inch flexible hose is routed through the wing root into 
the engine compartment. The hose makes a 90 degree downward turn about 
six inches from the wing root, into engine intake manifold.

I'm guessing about the only place to mount a filter plenum is inside the 
wing root....
