REFLECTOR: Builder's Insurance

I'm sure this has already been covered, but what insurance company out  there 
is currently providing the Best rates for the "building" phase of the  
Velocity?
 
I'd like to move away from Avemco (they are lacking big time in the  
"customer service" department).  Since I know they'll drop me as soon as I  mention 
"completion," why put up with them now?
 
Is there anyone else besides Falcon who can get us good "builder's"  rates?  
Can we go to the Insurance Companies directly, a la Avemco?
 
Do all the other Insurance companies besides Avemco require reserved N  
numbers?
