REFLECTOR: NACA's on the Engine Cowling

This quarter's VV had an article about a new Velocity with cooling 
NACA's  mounted on the engine cowling.

Is this person on this list?  If so any pictures?

Does the Factory have any more information about this?

This would make retro fitting an armpit scoop design so much easier!
