Hey, I didn't mean it.  The bean stalk is getting pretty tall and I only
mentioned the seed of an idea that I thought that a person should be able to
lock the brakes if (s)he needed to or desired to....something I could not do
with the Matcos.  So, is it a good idea to flat spot your tires?  No.  Is
locking your brakes the fastest way of stopping?  No.  Are Clevelands better
than Matcos?  Yes.  Do you need Clevelands?  Depends.  If you don't go into
a short field, land hot, land long or abort a TO, then Clevelands are
probably an unwarranted luxury.  But if you intend to do any of the above,
or suspect that you may unintentionally do so, then the Clevelands look a
little more attractive.
