REFLECTOR:Forgotten fields

Yeah, I was happy to find the site (by accident several months ago...found
it again in my links and wasted a couple of hours today).  I thought my
memory was going (at age 42) as to a couple of fields I knew I remembered
from my wayward days of youth, but could no longer find on charts or driving
where it should have been.  I found them all on the site for the Houston
area....one only about a mile and a half from my current home.

Funny how interesting I found the site. You should try the Hawaii link if
you like WWII history.

Chris, what a kick!  Thanks so much for sharing this.  I found the old field
in Downey, California which I remember walking on as a kid.  It later became
the central plant location for design and assembly of the Apollo spacecraft
(North American Aviation/Rockwell) where my dad worked many years, writing
the monthly engineering report to NASA for Apollo.  Those were the days!
