Shea XLRG: Overall view of a plenum system for a Lyc IO-540 angle valve engine. The round covers over the #1 & #2 cylinders are for spark plug access. I used grommets where the spark plug wires exit the plenum to create a seal and protect the wires. You can also see how the induction air from the runner feeds into the air cleaner box.
