Please upload your pictures into the appropriate directory.
Wherever major differences exist between Velocity models (a
retract XL is very different than an SUV), please create a
directory called model_differences so that users will know
you are demonstrating pictures that apply to a specific design.
Please give your name, and a comment for each picture uploaded
that includes the Velocity model, and what the picture is about.

Example: B. Michalk: Elite/FG: This is a picture of me making layups.
Shea XLRG: Overall view of a plenum system for a Lyc IO-540 angle valve engine. The round covers over the #1 & #2 cylinders are for spark plug access. I used grommets where the spark plug wires exit the plenum to create a seal and protect the wires. You can also see how the induction air from the runner feeds into the air cleaner box. Shea XLRG: Plenum runner slip joint. The bump just aft of the joint is an aluminum stiffener glassed onto the runner to keep it from bulging under pressure. The short 'stub' section of plenum is screwed to the firewall. The duct flange coming off the runner feeds air to the secondary oil cooler. Pic of the VG placement on the factory's XL demonstrator
Shea XLRG: I used baffling components from a spam can (I know, sacrilegious!) to complete the lower cylinder baffling. The lower baffling pieces bolt to aluminum flanges that have been riveted (w/ washer backing) to the plenum. These flanges also stiffen the front and back sides of the plenum so it won't bulge under pressure. Shea XLRG: With the exhaust off, you can see the threaded rod that connects the front and back lower baffling components together (If you can't find it, look towards the base of the cylinders).
