 At full power down low with a Lyc.200 hp I get readings of 94 dB in both the
Velocity and Piper Arrow.  With the EAR package the Velocity drops to 84 dB.
Take the Velocity up to 12,000' and it drops to 72 dB.   You don't have to shout
at each other when you get tired of having head sets stuck on your ears.

Cruise is at altitude (thin air) and at reduced manifold pressure so dB levels
are  below 80 dB not 100 dB.  After I sold my 100 dB+ 540 Maule and started
flying Velocities most of my hearing came back. :)
