REFLECTOR: Stupid pilot tricks/Nose wheel lock

For those of you that have installed the nose wheel lock (to prevent
shimmy), do you have any suggestions/strategies for remembering to
disengage the lock after landing (and slowing to taxi speed)?

The idiot pilot of my bird had now forgotten 2x to disengage the lock and
subsequently (when trying to turn) and each time, sheared the screws
holding the cable housing to the gear fork.

This time, I will replace the screws with structural screws, but my guess
is that won't be enough.

I (oops, I meant the idiot pilot) need to remember to pull the cable.
