Just curious about the strength of the retaining chain.
If a cap were to come loose, I imagine there would be some violent 
"whipping action" on the top surface of the strake, i.e. strong forces 
going on with the cap at the end of the chain.
Do you know if the cap model you are installing will withstand 
15-minutes of "pounding"??
