Try your local aircraft hardware store? Home(Built) Depot?

A drill, some flox and you should be able to make some quick anchor-points.  

To be on the safe side, I fill the inside threaded portion with silicone.

A bid tape over the top is a nice touch.

They are called T-Nuts.
