?  I don't think there's any liquid, maybe looking at the full
resolution picture would help.  There's a circular fracture all
the way around the leg, and secondary fractures radiating
outward.

the same place as Andy's, near the fuselage, about 6" out where

This is Andy's leg.  He said it felt like shimmy when it let
go, and the leg danced around like a wet noodle.  The landing
was unremarkable until the leg let go.  Perhaps those of us
without the carbon wrap are on borrowed time.
