REFLECTOR: N2XF Down in Stevensville -- Trailer Stands for Wings?

With the strakes it's a bit tougher. I transported a Velocity with just the
spar from Oregon to Austin, TX using a 16' U-Haul enclosed truck. The wings
sit on the floor with padding, no problem and the airplane sits at the back
with the door open with just the spar outside. It will also have to be
rotated 45 degrees. I used bags of mulch to elevate the airplane and
maintained the rotation using ratchet straps.
Alternatively, I drove the plane from Austin to Los Angeles using a 16'
open trailer which worked great too. Same deal, set the plane on bags of
mulch. You can use 2x4s to the outside wing attach bolts to hold angle.
Same in the front using the canard attach bolt holes. The wings can be put
on the trailer floor with foam underneath and strapped down. Same with the
canard. Things want to move around more than you would expect so lots of
ratchet straps are advised.
