I saw no difference.  However I takeoff at less than full power.  My IVO 
fine pitch limit is set to give a static 2600 rpm.  When taking off I 
add only enough power to get 2300 rpm.  As I begin climb out the rpm 
gradually reaches 2600 and I need a little coarse pitch adjustment to 
keep it there.,

Again, I can't tell, since I climb out at 1500 fpm at the same power 
setting as for take off.  Judging by the increase in cruise airspeed, 
I'm getting more power at 24 degrees timing, consistent with my belief 
that 28 is too much.

Scott, at 24 degrees timing, the oil streak goes away if I keep my MP 
below 18", so I think I'm close to eliminating it.
