Richard,

MYAM or MYAT are both good choices. Do not worry about liferafts, there is
no way to get a raft out the the airplane when you need it.
Once you ditch, and able to talk as well, it means you are safe, plenty of
foam, and I guarantee you wil never get a liferaft out of a Velocity once
water has gotten in your plane.
I sail on Ocean regattas with my Sailyacht, throwing it over the railing
when needed already is a BIG thing.
Life jackets at every seat is plenty, have fun
