REFLECTOR: Bildge Fan

Completely Blocking the outlet duct would overheat the engine oil.  I installed a operable door on the outlet duct like a cowl duct on mine. It does two things. When fully open it provides a lower pressure on the outlet and moves more air through the cooler, thus keeping my oil cooler .  In the closed position, about 1/4 open, it provides enough pressure in the outlet duct to push warm air into the front cabin.  The pressure in the outlet duct is still lower than the inlet duct so enough air is moving through the cooler to provide some oil cooling.
