REFLECTOR: Glazed brakes

My left brake was suddenly much less effective after a recent hard stop. Is there an easy fix for glazed pads besides replacement?  I rebled them and they squeeze and track fine. I could not turn left while taxiing. I have the dampener and the front gear but is set for 10# breakout. No recent modifications. Matco XT have worked fine for last 300 hrs. ??????
