REFLECTOR: Velocipoxy

I had a batch of velocipoxy mixed 1:1. Not the 2:1 that is supposed to be used.  Is it ever going to get hard enough to sand off?  Right now ( a week later) it's too firm to scrape off with a putty knife and too gummy to sand!
