REFLECTOR: turning the exhaust exit

streamlined my exhaust were it exits the bottom of my cowl.   It reduced
the rpm and
manifold pressure needed for me to cruise 200 kts true by 100 RPM and 2
inches manifold pressure.  Now
my prop and cowling stay clean because the air along the cowling stays
attached to the cowling forming
the boundary layer of air behind the exhaust pipe.  Plus at 200 kts you
could feel the turbulent air off the
exhaust pipes hitting the prop, and that's completely gone now also.  I
will email you photo's of my exhaust
pipes and the cowling showing the streamlined shape of the exhaust cutouts
