REFLECTOR: Throttle cable problems

My Cablecraft throttle cable (lined with teflon) works fine in the Vernier
mode, but pushing and pulling is not as smooth and easy as I'm accustomed
to in certified aircraft. The distance from panel to engine must be a
factor in velocities, and maybe it's impossible to duplicate the
smooth/easy feel of a Cessna. My cable is attached at all points with adel
clamps from front to back. My two bends (front and back)  are nice wide
radius turns.

Has anyone found the "ideal" cable that moves in and out easily?

Suggestions appreciated.
