REFLECTOR: Thermocouple Welder

I know this is a long shot, but does anyone here have a thermocouple 
welder they would be willing to loan for a few weeks?

My acquisition system reads CHT and EGT thermocouples, and the ones I 
currently use are all grounded, which is bringing in common mode voltage 
that exceeds the op-amp limits in the AD594/5.  I want to switch to 
ungrounded probes, but the cost for these simple devices would run me 
about $1000 to do all of my probes.  I'm going to buy MITC (thermocouple 
cable) and make my own for about $5 each.
