REFLECTOR: Cabin heat

I have been thinking of cutting a naca scoops into the side of the fuselage right wear the side 
ducts runs to allow for air flow through the ducts to cool off the return line from the heater core in the nose.
My hope is it will help in cooling the engine and provide heat  to the cabin with out adding another 
heater core. Has any one tried this? Any thoughts on this idea?
