REFLECTOR: SoCal Ride in Velocity

Hi,
This is Erik Franks with the Velocity XL-RG. Just finished the 40 hour Phase 1 flight test program yesterday. My friend Al Smith who is test flying wants to compare the handling characteristics of this Velocity to another one and was hoping to ride with another pilot in the Los Angeles/Bakersfield/San Diego area.
We tried lowering the ailerons 1/4" with neutral stick and that seemed to make handling much worse. Even with vortilons and trailing edge fences control at 85 knots isn't as good as we'd like. Any suggestions? Any opportunity for a ride along? Thank you.
