REFLECTOR: Elevator trim motor location

The manual is telling me to find a suitable location on the canard to mount the elevator trim motor. "Slightly left of center is best." (I interpret this to mean "on the left side as close to the center as possible without getting in the way of the counterweight arm.")

Will you all please tell me where your pitch trim actuators are located and if you're happy with it there?
