REFLECTOR: IFR GPS

FAR 91.205 is for :

 

"Sec. 91.205

Powered civil aircraft with standard category U.S. airworthiness
certificates: Instrument and equipment requirements."

 

We have Experimental certificates, Not standard. Or.. did I miss some small
print? 

 

Just a note. You are the factory. You decide what makes your plane IFR, not
the FAA. 

 

Hum-m-m; well, I assumed that 91.205 applied; but this sufficiently muddys
the water. What, then are the equipment and instrumentation requirements for
'Experimental' aircraft - or is 'experimental actually a subcategory of
'Standard' Category?
