REFLECTOR: Fuel Vent System

I have an overflow vent installed in each tank.  

If you are talking about the 'vent' system that allows air in as fuel goes
out; or air out of the sump as fuel initially goes in, then it is obviously
a requirement.  If you mean an overflow line, that is something different
entirely, and not a normal part of the design.

 

The vent system should follow the principles of the example given in the
manual - allow air into the highest point of each strake tank and sump tank;
then go to some high point above any level in the tanks (including
consideration of climb angle), and then out the bottom of the fuselage.
