Jeff,

 

More likely the reason you can't get you snap ring out is because you have
to remove the hydraulic fitting from that end first, then push the 'stepped'
ring into the cylinder far enough to allow the snap ring to come out without
hitting the step on that ring.

Does any body have a extra hydraulic cylinder for the nose gear that they
would be willing to sell?? Mine is one of the old ones that I cannot get the
snap ring out of because the groove was not chamfered... Thanx Jeff
