Correction Dan related to the cost of the XL for $140K. The cost of materials alone was over $230K, not $130K. Sorry.

  Dan there is no way this plane could go for !00K.  At $140K it is a complete steel. In materials alone there is over $130K, not including any labor to build it. To insure my XL/RG for $100K haul and liability it cost me $2360 per year but I have over 4000 hrs and close to 1600 in canard planes.
