REFLECTOR: Permission to land at an AFB

Many air force bases have flying clubs for use by the gi's assigned to the base. That also means there is an area assigned to the  planes that are used by the club.

When calling forr permission to land also request directions to the flying club area.

  We're planning on a trip to Denver next weekend.  Our friends live right next to Buckley AFB and about 16 miles from Centennial (KAPA). I notice in the A/FD that it says "permission required to land" at Buckley. Do Air Force bases routinely grant permission for private aircraft to land?
