REFLECTOR: Mystery Oil Leak

John,

A day or two after flying, I also get about a teaspoon of oil on the hanger
floor just below the air intake scoop for the carburetor. I traced it to
where the pickup
for the RPM sending unit screws into the rear case. There is also a mounting
plate
just below the Mags with four bolts. check that they are tight.

BTW. Susan at Franklin Aircraft Company has a new front crankshaft seal
assembly
          that solves the leaking seal problem.
