We generally hear from folks who have problems with fuel filters but there are those of us who use them with no issue. I have 3 filters on my plane. One in-line from each wing tank and one out of the header. Have changed them 3 times and they have always been clean. The wing tank ones are see through and I can easily check them for contaminants.
