REFLECTOR: One hundred miles per gallon

Funny, runway 31/13 at GNT was also extended about 9 years ago.  Same
deal, there is a pronounced transition(dip, bump, whatever) about 1500
ft from end of RWY 13 that causes you to be momentarily airborne unless
your are heavily loaded.  Its at the time when you might be able to
stagger off or you could let her down and get a bit more speed and then
take off.

When landing on 13 I just forget about that 1500 ft and land long.  If
you dont and there is a pronounced crosswind it can play havoc, just
when you think  you've got things under control...
