You have an FG aircraft, so yes you might want to replace your bumper.

You can see pictures of my finished installation on my website.  Nose gear
replacement pictures start at 1273.  Finished install is picture 1277.

I am considering upgrading to the new rubber bumper for my nose gear. I have
fixed gear and assume this upgrade that has been discussed is for my
