REFLECTOR: avionics shop on the field

If you turn your transponder on you need it certified by an authorized shop.

If you fly IFR, or into Class, A, B, C or D airspace you need your pitot 
static certified by authorized shop.

If your test flying out of a class E airport, you can defer these items 
until you can fly to a place with a certified shop.  To be legal you may 
need a waiver to fly it into the airfield with the shop.
