REFLECTOR: Prop flange distance

   I concur with Andy a tick over 41. Evidently a tick is worth  1/8 inch. 
That measurement is of a Lycoming TIO540 the same case and crank of a  non turbo 
charged model, and the same factory engine mount.

Hum-m-m-m; someone may want to double check that,  because the notes on my
drawings for re-doing the cowls say that the  original cowl extended 42" from
the firewall on a standard fuselage; and  the prop flange would be beyond
that. I would guess the XL to be more. I  could be wrong; of course, but . .
