Teflon tape dissolved? Are you sure? It is probably the most inert plastic
that exists, I would think that the reservoir cups would dissolve first

Hi Mike

I Have used your method of black electricians tape to seal the METCO master
cylinders.But experienced TEFLON tape dissolved when used with dot 5.

Now We are converted to toe /Cleveland and 5606 fluid is used brakes and
gear.
