REFLECTOR: Heat in the nose!

Make sure you are not venting high pressure "HOT" air up the ducts and  
exiting around the opening in the ducts for throttle  cables et. from the engine 
compartment.  The ducts should be  sealed at the firewall to prevent this.  This 
could be  your problem and not the cooler.
