REFLECTOR: conduit in a conduit?

Besides- I am almost certain that the epoxy resin decomposes at a lower
temperature into similar compounds. So a fire within the duct would produce
fumes from the structure as well....... what to do, what to do....... I have
a halon system installed, might just pipe a little bit into the ducts for
good measure......

I am a chemist, and you are right. In addition if you have >300C in the
conduit for very long, toxic fumes are going to be the least of your
worries.
