I believe the correct setting is 1/8" DOWN while on the ground and neutral.  Then the air pressure will make them neutral while in flight.

  The ailerons will need progressively  more  lbs of input to  move them as your speed  increases, this  is a  natural built in feedback system that prevents you from over controlling. You should still be able to easily roll the airplane to 60/90 degrees at any speed. 

  Anybody done a test to see how much force is required to roll the airplane at faster and faster speeds, using a fish scale or something?
