subject FAA Verbal permition for essential passenger on test  flight.
HI Jerry
This FAA examiner is a real Santa Claws. Would he put it in writing?
Like" Flight engineer required for all flights.
You know to tell the truth Jerry I am guilty of the same thing.If I inspect  
the aircraft and consider it to be save for flight I have taken the owners on  
the test flight but this is the first time I told anyone.
 My Son Steven is a great pilot and knew your plane was  safe.
