I wish to invite all pusher enthusiasts to attend an OSH forum on Pusher
Cooling and Drag Reduction.

Gary Hertzler & Terry Schubert - The "Efficient Pusher Engine Cooling and
Drag Reduction" forum will be held on Wednesday 7/25/07 at 1:00 PM to
2:15 in tent 6 - Sporty's Pavilion
We plan to give a presentation, directed at canard pusher design, applies
to reciprocating engine installations. Cooling topics include: basic
cooling design, inlet pressure recovery (updraft, down draft, NACA &
ram), internal cowl airflow and cylinder baffles. Drag reduction subjects
address: cowl shape, prop efficiency, winglets, main gear fairing and
wheel pants. Construction methods for making performance measurement and
observation tools will be offered.
